Annalina Mayer

Postdoc

Annalina’s main goal is to understand the brain processes that link human social skills to mental health, with a special focus on cognitive processes such as empathy and social reward processing, as well as social emotions. Since completing her PhD in 2021, Annalina has been working as a postdoctoral fellow in the Social Neuroscience Lab while also undergoing clinical training in the local Department of Psychiatry. In 2022, she received funding from the University of Lübeck as a clinical scientist.
